Offensive: Madu anticipates to restart his team’s action, he follows it after passing the ball or he builds himself the play in the center of the field (where he tries even to shoot) or on sides. When he plays wider he looks for the cross showing a good kick
Defensive: Even if Kingsley has explosive power, he doesn’t like a frontal duel especially near his team’s area. Madu is able to manage well his position on field, but he should improve his posture and his breaks. Natural predisposition to diagonal lines
Madu’s story began in Maiduguri, a city in north-eastern Nigeria, where play El-Kanemi Warriors. Thanks to his performances in this team Kingsley was called up by U20 Nigerian football team for World Cup held in Turkey in 2013. When Madu played in this tournament, Slovakian side As Trencin scouted Kingsley and offered him a three-year contract.
He was signed alongside his team mate in Nigeria Moses Simon, since January 2015 in Belgium at KAA Gent.
Despite of climate and enviromental differences, Kingsley adapted himself well to European football, debuted in Fortuna Liga in a couple of months and he became a regular first time player as left back. From that moment his road seemed descend, an advantange for the guy who loves running: championship title (also with two goals), Europa League debut and in July 2015 also the first game in Champions League, in the second qualifying roung against Steaua Bucarest.
A new stage in Madu’s career, just before an other one. Just after Kingsley’s debut in the most important European competition Nigeria national team coach Sunday Oliseh called him for Tanzania-Nigeria a match of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification. Former Juventus player was persuaded by Madu’s performance against Chad, during his debut with Super Eagles two months before. To come full circle Kingsley needs only one of the best European league. But step by step. Now Slovakia, in the next future maybe Poland, at TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, where Madu did a trial between the end of 2014-2015 season and the beginning of 2015-2016 one.
